okay. College life has started.

Luckily, got some morning classes but not too late, and some classes I don't have to go early in the morning, but gotta go back late. :)

Last sunday, there was our church's birthday, and I love it! especially the choir and the hymns they sang :)

Orientation during Valentine's day. how awesome.

Anyway, was at school for the whole week, tired, having tours, this and that, getting ready the books and blah blah blah those things that you need to be ready for college.

It was fun, met new people, made new friends, but I can't help but feeling exhausted almost all the time. and luckily, tomorrow's a Friday!!!! :D

went to Trinity, and it's a nice place, an enchanting environment, filled with blooming flowers of summer. Intricate, historical Victorian architecture, loving every bits and pieces of the place, well, even though I gotta love the University of Melbourne more :)

Wanna congratulate my sister who will be an undergraduate in the University of Melbourne and I'm just extremely jubilant for her. the University of Melbourne is number one in Australia, how can I not be proud!

and also I wanna congratulate my brother who scored the highest for his chemistry test, I'm also very proud of you.

and my youngest sister, who is an awesome blog layout editor, I'm super proud of you, for being so smart and CUTE.

and today was extremely hot and humid, walked to Port Melbourne, sighing, huffing and puffing as I dragged my feet along the road until I reached my destination.

and then, it rained, but it was still so humid and damp! how can summer be like thisssss

anyway, went to 'Limonetto', and ate the artisan chocolate and coffee gelati. Nyum!

Watched the movie 'Black Swan' the other day,, and it was. indescribable, for the first time, I have no distinctive comment. especially for this movie.

Well,, it was certainly full of inappropriate scenes, and how Nina became, probably a 'psycho' as she was trying to be a perfect role, playing the white swan and the black swan.

There are some scenes that brought you to the horror and a sense of fear that Nina felt in the movie, and one good thing about the movie is that it engages the audience; the suspense, the thrilling moments, all can be fully experienced.

So, there is one lesson that I have learnt through this movie, is that in most of the things we do, it's not all about the skills, techniques or other technical variations, but it's also about how we should try to insert our heart into everything we do.

CAMBRIDGE IGCSE results are out!!!! they are out!!!

Pretty excited to know what my results are, to see whether I did well, and so on.

Though I got tricked by my ~~annoying~~ siblings about the marks, after I had found out the exact, real results, my heart leaped for joy, as to found out, that my results are awesome. :)

Totally better than I had expected, especially my science, phew.

Many of muah friends got tons of A* and As, so I'm happy for them as well.

Although there's one problem, I'm a little disappointed with my maths and my business studies results.

but I'm still grateful (reminded by my sister) , and yeah, so I learned how to be thankful.

and so, the last few days that I spent in Melbourne.

Saw this in a magazine, and yeah, I think it's a pretty cool statement, :)

and then saw this breath-taking dress in 'Forever New',, it's beautiful but I'll never forget the price :(

and so going to go for 1000 steps tomorrow, in the FernTreeGully or something,, well, I'll just hope that it'll be exhilirating :)

so here it goes.

My holiday has actually been fun, went out a lot, met new friends, especially from church, and I'm kinda loving it here, except that my stomach's inflating.

Went to QV, Melbourne Central, lotsa times, but I've enjoyed those sweet moments.

ate at a Greek restaurant called 'Stalactites' yesterday, ate a Slouvaki (shared it with muah sis) and it's tangy, with a little mayo zest on the crinkly-cut lettuce and grilled chicken, as I was told.

Well,, it's actually nice, managed to impress me in a positive way,,

and then went to 'Max Brenner : Chocolate by the bald man' , and it was good.

drank a fabulous mug of dark hot chocolate (even though it's $6 -EXPENSIVE) and it was chilly that night, so it was great at the right time.

Imagine drinking it during a hot summer day, you'll be murdering your own throat.

and I am really grateful for my awesome friends, an amazing family, and a perfect God, and God, I'm really thankful for everything.

and I really pity those people who got hit by the inundating flood in Queensland, and just now Brisbane now parts of Victoria, fortunately Melbourne's not affected.

Went to church the other day, and the pastor was preaching about something really important that made me realise how I should not be complaining but look at those people in need, who are victims of natural disasters, and that I should be grateful, for the routine that we may think of as boring, repetitive and monotonous, is an amazing blessing that He has given to us.

anyway, went to MYER the other day and saw some awesome clothes,,

a beautiful faded pink dress and a suit.

I WANT THOSEEEEEE!! I CRAVE FOR IT! of course.

n then, watched Morning Glory starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and blahblah

it's pretty good actually, funny, hehe,,

hope my sistah and I can watch 'Burlesque' and 'the Dilemma' and 'Black Swan'

and movies here are soooo expensive.

btw, went to Brunetti's and ate 2 of the cakes there, and they are marvelous!

It was hot, but the prevailing wind's up to 30 knots, so it became cold anyway,,,

then we went to Sorrento, where we ate the famous 'Vanilla Slice' , which is to me just custard sandwiched in between crisp pastry.

the first time you eat it, you're gonna say, "hmmmm", n then after you finished eating it, then you'll go, "aghh".

even though it's reallyyy nice, but I guess it's too much, so it becomes...you know what. hehe.

then went back home, slept like a pig, I'm afraid my stomach will inflate like a balloon. =3=.

anyway, loving Melbourne, however, there are only two things which defies my interest.

the price of everything (especially food) AND,

THE WEATHER.

it's extreme. the cold, the hot, the change, aghhh,,,

and went to Trinity college and the University of Melbourne the other day.

hectares of land being invested in various subjects, like business and finance has this new building which is fascinating. Intricately crafted in modern contemporary style, it's definitely a new, cool environment for the students to study.

I DEFINITELY WANT TO STUDY THERE.

Just a few days ago, dad, mum, and my two cute siblings went back to Malaysia and Indonesia.

It's just a few days since they're gone, but I'm missing them already :(

Australia's awesome, I mean, you gotta admit that the public transportation implemented is advanced, and the trams, buses, as well as trains are in an orderly manner.

summer's supposed to be hot or at least warm, but Melbourne's weather has given no mercy to its people, as the weather is superbly cold, day and night. Cardigans, jackets, jumpers, sweaters, here I go.

Just found this straw product called 'Sippahh!' in which you insert the straw into a cup of fresh milk (250 ml) and just Sip, and then say ahhhh~

heheh. SIPPAHHH!!!!

and I've been crazy over milk for these days now, wanna enjoy the sippah~

Went to GRII, and met new friends :) , well, due to the introduction from my sister XD, her friends actually.

and then, drank the BEST ever Jasmine Milk Tea at 'EASY WAY', tea indulgence.

AWFSOME.

SHOULD TOTALLY try it :D

Went to a church member's house yesterday yesterday (lol), and had the first informal church gathering here, in Melbourne.

Was fun, met other few people, met with my sister's friends, and blahblahblah.

Everything does seem to be right on track.

Went to Chadstone, as it was THE boxing day and had a really fun time scrambling clothes, scattering them all around :D
and it was like;
"10 DOLLARS OFF!"
"50% OFF ALL PRICES!"
"70%"

and thenn~ bought clothes at Cotton On, Dotti, Just Jeans, Mango, and blahblahblah since they're SO cheap~

in Melbourne, the weather will KILL you, believe me.
it's freezing cold, and what's more, the only place where you'll be warm is inside buildings. However, beware that the buildings which I generally mentioned do not include shopping centres.
You'll freeze to death inside the plaza/mall/ any shopping complex.

n then, you can fully rely on public transportation especially trams, buses as well as trains. Everything is provided :D

alright! SO, I ARRIVED AT

MELBOURNE

it's a cold summer, though the sun's shining but the prevailing wind's still as cold as ice.

in here, there's peace, and an environment where you can feel safe, and also, a place where you can spend all your money and end up sleeping on the bench at the park.

If you convert australian dollars to indonesian rupiah, you'll scream for your life, really,,

it's so expensive, you can never imagine!

plus, the Australian economy's doing so well! of course, it will drive the currency to appreciate.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Went to a place called 'Docklands' and a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee shopping land is there.

it's breath-taking.

I seriously wanna watch 3 idiots again. it's a seriously awesome movie. a seriously fascinating movie, full of moral and integrity , especially life lessons that most people forget.

and yes, even though it is Indian, it does not have the specific exaggerated dance moves that Bollywood movies usually have.

I WANNA WATCH IT AGAIN!

and i wanna watch 'Barbie' in the 12 dancing princesses. It may seem childish, but hey, it's a way to remind yourself to keep your youth, and i guess immaturity.

Alright. so this is the itinerary for today.

1. Went to church cause I'm in the choir and we sang and sang, though a few others did not even open their mouths. at least there was a sound coming out from all of us. They were afraid they would sing an off-tune melody.

2.FULLY supporting my friends to come over my house and spend time with me as my time in Pontianak will be over soon, and I may not see them again until next year, which is a long time, even for me. Well, they have to think about it and so, since dad came earlier to fetch me and the youth section of the church was so late (I suppose) and we had to wait for a superbly long time until we finally stepped into the ceramic floor of the hall.

3.was given an I-don't-know-what food, which was sweet, and a 'Panda' herbal drink, which consisted of 1% herbs, 50% sugar, and the rest water. then aren't we like drinking sugar? O_O"

(the percentage above is a figurative statement.)

4. was really hungry and tired and thirsty. ate noodles with dad, the ones he bought with some crab parts, and I was full to the max.

5. Wondering whether my friends are coming if not I'll sleep first.

6. Gonna tidy up my stuff to make sure that I don't leave anything in Pontianak before I'm going Melbourne.

7. Gonna miss my ~~'ALAY'~~ friends a lot :)

Last wednesday, I went out with 8 of my friends and we hang out at the only worth visiting shopping centre, which is obviously the 'Mega Mall'.

so then, we watched 'Tangled'; or also known as Rapunzel, and even though it is animated, it is certainly an awesome movie! It's unlike an ordinary Rapunzel movie, there's a twist in it, like a loving 'mother' who stole her from her biological mother, who was the queen of the kingdom.

and the loving 'mother' was supposed to be tedious, in a usual Rapunzel story.

Anyway, I really enjoyed it :)

After the movie, we went for some 'crepes', and it was fascinating! cold, sweet, a guilty pleasure for the tongue, and I could taste the soft, cooked dough surrounding the ice cream.

AND THEN.

Saw a reallyyyyyyyy cute 'the Simpsons' tee in Matahari.

and I want it. duh.

soooo,, I am going to teach next week!!! Dad just called his friend who owned a kindergarten, and so finally, I don't have to waste my time watching TV!! at least for something worth doing.

San DIeGo~~~~~~~~

we went to sea world~ n the animals there were so cute^^.. especially the "killer whale" called SHAMU~~~~~ i love the show:D

thers quite a few rollercoasters~ n its fun tho^^.. yeah,over there, the weather is pleasant, like a bit of sunshine, but not hot, and windy~ reallyyyyyyy nice,

the weather u cant get in kuching or anywhere else(i guess)

n then........... the next da we went to LAS VEGAS~~~
its really fun! its a city that is alive at night~
during the afternoon its so HOT!
n dun ever buy stuff there, cuz if u did, ur money will be gone in seconds.
n thres the eiffel(is this the spelling?) tower.. but its fake-.-""

s nt much there~

today clare visited my hse....n we chat2...n then walk under the crap HOT sun.... forced by clare(so bad) ,,, n then we went to the shops in front of STutong,.... n bought nth there since we din bring any money... then went back 2 my house... and then chat n made da top 10 personalities and physical qualities of a boyfriend...which we done coz were so bored (pictures in clare's blog) ... haha. n then..experiment with the chocolate milk n milo...it tasted weird but clare juz smiled so widely...so maybe she thought itz nice.. ._."

went to church n juz heard an amazing story from the pastor ?James Chen?

There was an Indian man, who had a perfect barrel n a cracked barrel.
